Diplomacy is normally used as a noun to describe the conduct of foreign, or external, relations. Nonetheless, in an increasingly globalised setting, the dividing lines between domestic and foreign, as well as those between internal and external, are increasingly blurred. Issues have become interconnected and complex, both in terms of depth and breadth, involving an intricate set of actors as a result.
