Э90AΦ steel rail

At OAO Novokuznetskii Metallurgicheskii Kombinat, R65K rail is produced from э90AΦ steel with an elevated carbon content and microadditions of vanadium and nitrogen, so as to increase the wear resistance. Such rail is characterized by satisfactory quality in terms of nonmetallic inclusions, macrostructure and microstructure, mechanical properties, hardness, pile-driver strength, and residual stress.
