Infrared imaging by 128x1 GaAs/AlGaAs MQW infrared FPAs

A scanning infrared FPA of 128X1 multiple quantum wells(MQW) was developed. Responsivity R-p=2.02 X 10(6)V/W was obtained with the cut-off wavelength lambda(c)=8.6 mu m. By the typical blackbody detectivity definition, the detectivity is D-b* =2.37X10(9) cm.Hz(1/2)/W. Finally, a distinguished remnant thermal image of a room-temperature body was obtained.
