The utility model relates to a solid-liquid separation device in the fields of mines and chemical engineering, in particular to a novel hydraulic classifier. According to the novel hydraulic classifier, the mineral grain classification accuracy is high, and discharging openings can not be blocked. The novel hydraulic classifier comprises pulp tanks, a feeding opening, the discharging openings, overflow openings and blocking preventing devices, wherein the pulp tanks are sequentially connected through the overflow openings, the discharging openings are formed in the bottoms of the pulp tanks, and the blocking preventing devices are installed in the discharging openings. By means of the novel hydraulic classifier, the shortcomings that an existing hydraulic classifier is poor in ore pulp classification effect, and the discharging openings are prone to being blocked are overcome, and the solid-liquid separation device has the advantages that high-accuracy classification sedimentation can be carried out on ore grains in ore pulp, and the discharging openings are not prone to being blocked by the ore grains.
