The invention relates to a method for producing anionic surfactant granulates by simultaneous neutralization of acid anionic surfactants with bases, drying and granulation in a horizontal thin-layer evaporator or dryer, characterized in that the acid anionic tensides and/or bases are used as aqueous preparations with a solids content in such a way that the overall amount of water in the installation does not at any time exceed 15 wt. %.
