Analysis of nucleon structure functions in CERN bubble chamber neutrino experiments

THESE ARE THE DATA FROM THE BEBC AND GARGAMELLE EXPERIMENTS. ELAB= 2 TO 200 GEV Q**2 = 0.1 TO 100 GEV**2. X = 0. TO 1.0 3000 NU AND 2000 ANTI-NU EVENTS OF 2& lt;E& lt;12 GEV IN GARGAMELLE (FREON) AND 1120 NU AND 270 ANTI-NU EVENTS OF 20& lt;E& lt;200 GEV IN BEBC (NE/H2). 2XF1/F2 WAS FOUND TO BE 0.8+-0.12 BUT THE VALUES OF F2,XF3 HERE ASSUME 2XF1=F2. ESTIMATES FOR ERRORS IN SMEARING AND CENTRE-OF-BIN CORRECTION AND EFFECTS OF 10 PCT. REDUCTION IN K/PI RATIO USED IN FLUX COMPUTATION AND EFFECTS OF REDUCING 2XF1/F2 FROM 1.0 TO 0.8 CAN BE FOUND IN THE PAPER. THE OVERALL FLUX UNCERTAINTY OF +-7 PCT. SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT FOR THE ABSOLUTE V ALUES OF F2 AND XF3. ONLY DATA ON THE STRUCTURE FUNCTIONS CAN BE FOUND IN THIS RECORD.
