File processing method and apparatus for electronic device

The present application discloses a file processing method for an electronic device. The electronic device has a file management function. An embodiment of the file processing method comprises: in at least two predetermined time periods, acquiring an operation of a user on the electronic device in each time period; according to the acquired operations, generating operation key data corresponding to each operation, and assigning a privilege level to each operation, wherein each privilege level is increased step by step according to an execution sequence of the corresponding operation; separately binding each operation key data with the privilege level corresponding to the corresponding operation; and separately hiding a to-be-locked file associated with the privilege level bound with each operation key data. According to the embodiment, diversification of file protection means is realized, and differential protection can be performed on a plurality of files.
