Compressor System Design and Analysis

Abstract Compressor systems must be designed and evaluated according to industry standards for safety and reliability reasons. This chapter will cover various compressor arrangements and station layouts as well as a detailed description of different analyses that can be performed to sufficiently design new piping systems and evaluate existing problems. The description of each analysis includes a reference to the relevant standard or guideline that provides the parameters that determine the acceptability of the design for operation.
