The Selective Permeation Mechanism of Ion Exchange Membranes Used in the Electrodeposition Painting Process

The selective permeation mechanism of ion exchange membranes played an important role on stabilize of tank solution pH value and conductivity in the electrodeposition painting process.In this paper,the painting process and the principle of cathodic electrodeposition were expounded,and the selective removal of excess neutralizer(CH3COO-) in the electrodeposition tank was also analyzed.The primary mechanism for selective permeation of anion exchange membrane was discussed based on the theory of "cavities-double electric layer".
