Magnetic Bloch oscillations in the near-Ising antiferromagnet CoCl2·2D2O

We have investigated the possible occurrence of magnetic Bloch oscillations in CoCl2·2D2O. We were unable to observe these oscillations at 20.0 K, just above TN. In an attempt to explain this result, we studied spin waves in the a∗–c∗ plane in order to estimate the effect of the interchain couplings. The values we obtain for the coupling parameters are in reasonable agreement with the previous studies in the b∗–c∗ plane.
