Effect of pressure on leakage of automatic sprinklers. Report of Investigations/1993

In the report, the U.S. Bureau of Mines examined the ability of commercially available sprinklers to withstand the high static water pressures typical in deep underground coal mines. This work is part of a larger program to evaluate the effects of the underground mining environment on the performance of automatic sprinkler systems.
