Humidifier including elctrolytic sterilizer

A humidifier with an electrolytic sterilizer is provided to obtain high and continuous sterilization effect by intermittent operation and simplify collecting and removing of scale. A humidifier includes an electrolytic sterilizer for sterilizing water supplied to an atomizer in response to power supply from a power supply unit. The power supply unit supplies power to the sterilizer when the atomizer is not in operation, wherein the power supply unit repeats power supplying and power blocking operations for reducing power consumption. The sterilizer includes a body serving as a path with a water inlet(110), a water outlet(120) and a scale discharge part(130), which is detachably mounted with a cap(134) to the scale discharge part for collecting scale generated by electrolysis. A negative polarity plate(210) and positive polarity plates(220) are mounted between the water inlet and the water outlet by a holder(300) and supplied with the power, so that the water passing through the water inlet and the water outlet is electrolyzed and generates oxidizing mixture for direct and indirect oxidizing reaction and sterilization of germs and bacteria contained in the water.
