Adaptive device for biological tissue elasticity research in endoscopic examination

2012
FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and medical equipment, particularly to endoscopic devices for the biological tissue elasticity research. The device comprises an endoscope with tissue elasticity sensors that are pressure sensors, and a computer for recording a pressure in a chamber and an elasticity of the sample tissue. The elasticity sensors are presented in the form of sealed chambers filled with a pressure-sensing medium and placed on a flat end of the endoscope. The tissue elasticity sensors are provided with piezoresistive elements on a crystalline substrate having an adhesive binding to a polymeric matrix that comprises holes arranged with respect to the coordinates of the piezoresistive elements on the crystalline substrate. An elastic membrane with coaxial cavities connected with the matrix holes is compressed to the matrix. EFFECT: using the invention provides higher effectiveness of the biological tissue elasticity research by adaptation to the sample materials by adjusting a sensitivity characteristic of the device, correcting a repeatability error while preparing and researching, and controlling a contrast value of the selected objects of the sample biological tissue. 3 cl, 2 dwg
