Extral- gastrointestinal stromal tumors：A case report and review of the literature

Objectives To investigate the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of extral - gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 1 ease of extral - gastrointestinal stromal tumor, and reviewed the relevant literature. Results The patient, male, 68 years old. The main clinical features were lack of power three months with the right the waist pain a month. The right retroperitoneal tumors exploration operation was performed, and pathologic examination was extral -gastrointestinal stromal tumor （EGIST）. Conclusions Extral - gastrointestinal stromal tumor（EGIST） is a rare disease which can be diagnosed according to its clinical manifestations, color ultrasonic inspection, CT, Pathological examination and lmmunohistochemistry analysis. Surgery combination of molecular target drug Glivec （Imatinib Mesylate, STI -571 ） is the mainly therapy. Key words: Mesothelioma
