NIMPLEMENTATION OF COLLABORATIVE WRITING IN IMPROVING STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN ARRANGING LESSON PLAN BASED ON CURRICULUM 2013

The present research was mainly intended to figure out whether or not Collaborative Writing can improve students’ ability in arranging lesson plan (based on 2013 curriculum) of English Education Study Program of Mahasaraswati Denpasar University in academic year 2014/2015. This study made use of a class room action research design. The subject of this present study was students in 6h semester students. Data required for this present study were gathered by administering cyclic processes, started Initial Reflection (IR), Planning (P), Actions (A), Observation (O), Reflection (R) dan Revised Planning (RP). The mean scores of pre test and post tests showed 64.77, 71.82, 82.27. besides students also gave positive response for using collaborative writing in arranging ability in writing lesson plan. To sum up, the present study proved students’ ability in arranging lesson plan (based on 2013 curriculum) of the English Education Study Program of Mahasaraswati Denpasar University in academic year 2013/2014 could be improved through Collaborative writing.
