The invention relates to novel biphenyl-substituted 4-hydroxy-quinolones of formula (I), in which A, B, C, D, G, W, X, Y and Z have the meanings as cited in the description, to several methods for producing these compounds and to their use as pesticides, microbicides and herbicides.
