The invention discloses a VPN short message value-added service realization method comprising that: a VPN platform receives a calling message forwarded by an LSTP, and the calling message is parsed so that calling and called numbers of the calling message are acquired; and service logic processing is performed on the calling and called numbers and permission of the calling message is judged according to the service logic processing result, and if the judgment result is yes, the calling message is forwarded to an SMSC of a network to which the calling number is attributed via the LSTP, and the calling message is sent to the called number via the SMSC so that the calling process is completed. With adoption of the technical scheme, connection of the SMSC and more than two short message value-added service platforms is realized so that more value-added services can be provided for terminal users and user experience can be enhanced.
