The results of testing a BKZ-420-140NGM boiler firing fuel-oil and equipped with secondary blow

The results of tests of a BKZ-420-140NGM boiler firing fuel-oil and equipped with air blow above the top tier burners are presented. This arrangement greatly reduces nitrogen oxide emissions from the outlet of the furnace and decreases the local heat fluxes absorbed over the width and height of the furnace waterwalls.
