Efficiency of the mixing of fibers with mixing machines operating in parallel

Results are presented from a study of the efficiency of mixing cotton with chemical fibers in mixing machines and opening-cleaning units during cotton-spinning operations. The relations that are obtained make it possible to mix the fibrous mass more efficiently by using optimized parameters - the number of mixing machines, their productivity, and the mass of the fibers that enter their reserve chambers.
