Novel travelling wave structures for (2+1)-dimensional Sawada–Kotera equation
2022
Abstract Some special travelling wave solutions of the ( 2 + 1 ) -dimensional Sawada-Kotera (SK) equation are constructed by a new travelling wave method related to the bilinear transformation. It is found the SK equation possesses plenty of novel travelling wave solutions, such as the few-cycle-pulse solitons (FCPs), the asymmetric soliton, the soliton molecules, the three-peak soliton, the plat soliton, the double-peak soliton, the periodic wave solutions, etc. All the obtained solutions are all related to the background.
