The invention discloses an antrodia camphorata mycelium extract, active substances and a composition capable of reducing drug resistance of cancer cells. The antrodia camphorata mycelium extract is obtained by carrying out organic solvent extraction on antrodia camphorata mycelia and colloid tubular column chromatographic purification, wherein the antrodia camphorata mycelium extract with the concentration of 20 [mu]g/mL can reduce the expression quantity of multi-drug-resistant protein (MDR1 protein) in the cancer cells, the compound Antroquinonol in the further purified active substances can obviously inhibit the expression quantity of the MDR1 protein in the cancer cells, and therefore, the antrodia camphorata mycelium active substances provided by the invention have the function of reducing the expression quantity of the multi-drug-resistant protein in the cancer cells, so that the effect of assisting the chemotherapy drugs in killing the cancer cells is achieved.
