Electrical cross-talk modelling in optoelectronic integrated transceivers

In this paper the problem of modelling the electric coupling between the emitting laser diode and the diode detector in an integrated optical transceiver is considered. A method to determine analytically the coupling current through the substrate is presented. A finite element processor is used to evaluate the importance of the direct capacitive coupling.
