The material includes polymer fibers with abnormal cross section, and has the characteristics of high dust containing capacity and low airflow resistance, the filtering efficiency of the material on inhalable suspension particles with the particle size of above 0.3[mu]m in air reaches above 99.9%, the atmospheric bacterial filtering efficiency reaches 100%, and the airflow initial resistance under an air quantity of 1500m /h is smaller than 50Pa, so the material can simultaneously substitute middle efficiency filtration and high efficiency filtration in present air filtration, and reduces the structure cost and the energy consumption of a relevant ventilation system on the premise that a same filtering effect is reached.
