Estrés Térmico en el Área de Producción de una Panadería de Acuerdo a la Norma CONVENIN 2254-1995

El objetivo de la investigacion fue analizar el estres termico en el area de Produccion de la Panaderia de acuerdo a la Norma COVENIN 2254-1995, dentro de la normativa legal que garantiza a los trabajadores condiciones de salud, higiene, seguridad y bienestar en el trabajo. Metodologicamente, la investigacion es de naturaleza cuantitativa con un diseno descriptivo apoyado en un trabajo de campo, se aplico el metodo Temperatura de Globo con Bulbo Humedo (TGBH) asi como un cuestionario a la poblacion objeto de estudio. El diagnostico mostro que la Panaderia no cuenta con un sistema de proteccion adecuado de fuentes de generacion exterior, lo que incrementa la temperatura interior; no dispone de sistemas de ventilacion que garanticen la renovacion continua de aire fresco y la extraccion de aire caliente que facilite el intercambio de calor o evaporacion del sudor sobre la piel para garantizar la termorregulacion del cuerpo entre otras debilidades. Por lo cual, se recomienda a la Gerencia que organicen el trabajo de conformidad con los avances tecnologicos que permitan su ejecucion en condiciones adecuadas a la capacidad fisica y mental de los trabajadores, que garanticen la prevencion del estres termico. ---------- ABSTRACT---------- The objective pursued this research was to analyze the heat stress in the area of Production Bakery according to the Standard COVENIN 2254-1995, whitin the legislation that guarantees workers health conditions, hygiene, safety and welfare at work. Methodologically this research is quantitative descriptive desing supported on a fieldwork, the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) Method and a questionnaire were applied to the population under study. The diagnosis showed that the Bakery does not have ventilation system of protection from outside sources of generation, which increases the internal temperature; it does not have ventilation system that ensure continuous renewal of fresh air and extraction of hot air to facilitate heat exchange or evaporation sweat on the skin to ensure thermoregulation of the body, between others weakness. Therefore, management must organize the work in accordance to the technological advances that allows it implementation in appropriate physical and mental ability of workers conditions is recommended, to ensure the prevention of heat stress.
