Acceleration and deceleration control method for high speed machining of numerical control machine

2009
The invention discloses an acceleration and deceleration control method for high speed machining of a numerical control machine. The method comprises the following steps of: initializing acceleration and deceleration control parameters; calculating the total length of a current motion segment to be planned; if no feed rate override operation is performed on the current motion segment, judging whether to perform acceleration and deceleration control on the motion segment for the first time; if the acceleration and deceleration control is performed on the motion segment for the first time, calculating steps for the acceleration stage, the constant speed stage and the deceleration stage of the acceleration and deceleration control and related parameters of a cubic function by using the total length of the current motion segment to be planned, the initial speed and the final speed of the acceleration and deceleration control and the interpolation period of a numerical control system, and setting the count for the interpolation period as 1; if the acceleration and deceleration control has the constant speed stage, calculating the speed before filtering and inputting the speed into a moving-average filter for filtering so as to obtain a planned speed value in the current interpolation period; and updating the count of the current interpolation period to serve as a count for the next interpolation period. The acceleration curve obtained by using the method has high curve smoothness, small impact on mechanical systems and high flexibility.
