Stopper for rope and method of injection molding stopper on rope

PURPOSE: To obtain a stopper of a rope held from axially slipping by forming a case-shaped stopper surrounding the rope without play and a web running across an inner diameter of the stopper as an inner piece of the stopper and extending through the rope. CONSTITUTION: A stopper 20 for a rope 3 or the like has a case-like shape and surrounds the rope 3 without play. A web 21 is formed to run across an inner diameter of the stopper 20 as an inner piece of the stopper 20 and extends through the rope 3. Therefore, the stopper 20 surrounding the rope without play extends through the rope 3 with its inner web 21. As a consequence, since a form-fit between the rope 3 and the stopper 20 is formed, the stopper 20 can no longer axially slip from the rope 3 without destroying the rope 3 or the web 21.
