Since quantitative information on the use of such games in Thai business school is still very limited, it is important for business educators to explore the current condition of business simulation games in Thai Business School and to understand key similarities and differences between Western countries and Thailand in business educational institutions. In order to enhance the body of knowledge in this area (Scott, 2002; Proserpio and Gioia, 2007; Kolb, 1984; Gosen and Washbush, 2004; Thavikulwat, 2004), it is of paramount importance that educators know what, how, and when such games can be used in the Thai classroom setting in business school. Therefore, the current study aims to explore the current situation of business simulation game in business schools in Thailand.
