Manufacturing method for core-spun sewing threads with air textured yarns as core yarns

The invention relates to a manufacturing method for core-spun sewing threads with air textured yarns as core yarns, and belongs to the textile field. Cotton fibers and low-melting-point polyester staple fibers are adopted and subjected to opening picking and cotton carding processes to manufacture cotton fiber carding slivers and low-melting-point polyester staple fiber carding slivers respectively, the manufacture cotton fiber carding slivers and the low-melting-point polyester staple fiber carding slivers are mixed in the drawing process, mixed drawn slivers comprise, by weight, 80-85% of the cotton fibers and 15-20% of the low-melting-point polyester staple fibers, core-spun yarns are manufactured by the drawn slivers through the roving process, take the polyester air textured yarns as the core yarns and take the cotton fibers and the low-melting-point polyester staple fibers as cover yarns, and the core-spun yarns comprise, by weight, 45-55% of the polyester air textured yarns, 36-46.7% of the cotton fibers, and 6.7-11% of the low-melting-point polyester staple fibers. The core-spun yarns are further subjected to spooling, doubling, thread twisting and high-temperature finishing processes to obtain the air textured yarn core-spun sewing threads. The air textured yarn core-spun sewing threads are low in manufacturing cost, high in strength, low in elongation and suitable for high-speed sewing processing.
