Architecture aérienne de l'Abricotier en développement libre

Summary Apricot tree is an exemple of completely sympodial branching tree. The aerial architecture and the dynamic of growth of this species are presented through six different organization levels that contribute to the edification of the observed form of the mature tree: metamer, growth unit, annual shoot, stem, elementary branched system and adult tree. Continuous evolution of each organization level all along ontogenesis is shown.
