Bioefficacy of slow release formulations of Salicylic acid against Heterodera avenae

The disease started in the form of light brown superficial coating of fungal mycelium on the upper surface of lamina. The spots gradually increased in size and their colour changed to dark black. In most of the cases disease assumed black crust on the entire upper surface of the leaf. Mycelium superficial composed of light brown to dark brown, more or less cylindrical, loosely interwoven, branched, septate hyphae (Fig. 4). (IMI Accession No. 261945).
