The effect of calcium channel blocking on immune capacity of cardiovascular patients

In the present work we have studied the effect of verapamil in vivo on various immunological parameters in patients. In addition to T cell functions, B cell functions and immunoglobulin production were determined. Our results give evidence on the clinical significance of calcium channel blocking for the immunocompetence of cardiovascular patients
