Research and Development on TMS320C2812 Intrinsic Safe Secondary Explosion Detector

The paper introduced the composition,principle,performance and features of the intrinsic safe secondary explosion detector based on the TMS320C2812 chip.The detector was applied to detect the methane,oxygen,carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.Each gas density could be calculated with DSP.In the coordinate axis with oxygen and combustion gas density,the relative location to the mixed gas density could be found.Then in comparison with the explosion delta,any explosion danger could be determined or not.The detector could be carried by the mine personnel to timely judge any explosion danger or not in the underground mine and to provide the prediction information for the safety operation in the underground mine.Also the detector could be applied to make the sampling and measurement at the closed site after the gas explosion accident occurred.The relative measures could be made according to the measured results.
