Emission of organic micropollutants from waste incineration

Abstract Flue gas emission from a small, discontiniously operated, waste incinerator located in a high rise building was analysed. Sampling of particles and organic micropollutants was made during two combustion cycles. The samples were chemically analysed by HPLC-fractionating and gas chromatography. The PAH and PAH-derivatives were characterized in detail by GC/MS.
