Comparative Analysis of Characteristics of Coronary Angiography Between Stable and Unstable Angina Pectoris

2007
Objective:To compare the characteristics of coronary angiography in patients with stable angina pectoris(SAP) and unstable angina pectoris(UAP) and to evaluate the risks and prognosis of UAP.Methods:Results of coronary angiography of 80 cases with SAP and 136 cases with UAP(recent onset, accelerated, rest angina pectoris) were analyzed. Results:Single vessel lesion was more frequent in cases with recent onset angina pectoris than those of others, left main stem arterial lesion was more frequent in cases with accelerated and rest angina pectoris, the differences were significant statistically(P0.05).Type A coronary lesion was more frequent in SAP,type C coronary lesion was more frequent in UAP,there was significant difference(P0.01).Thrombosis was more frequent in UAP than those in SAP(P0.05).Conclusion:Lesions of coronary arteries in UAP are more complicated than those in SAP,which may lead to poor prognosis in patients with UAP.
