A redescription of the larva of Olliffiella cristicola Cockerell (Coccoidea: Kermesidae)

SYNOPSIS The larva of Olliffiella cristicola, a gall maker on oak, is redescribed; the relation of this genus to Kermes is discussed and it is assigned to the family Kermesidae (Coccoidea).
