Uso da terra e temperatura de superfície em Ponta Grossa, Paraná (PR), Brasil

This study examined the influence of land use in the city of Ponta Grossa-PR on the Earth's Surface Temperature. Multitemporal orbital images were used to obtain the usage and coverage, and to generate temperature values. With the use of maps and coverage and temperature classes data crosses were obtained. Main coordinate analyses were performed for each year in order to assess which temperature classes were more significant for the different use classes. Classes urban areas and exposed soil showed higher temperatures, since the forest and forest cultivation classes had lower temperatures. Through the ordering diagrams coordinate analysis, the formation of two major groups of classes was noted. One of them consists of more anthropic classes associated with the vectors of higher temperatures; another with classes of plant formations, associated with the vectors of milder temperatures.
