The Theoretical Basis of Iterative Distributed Solutions to the Biomagnetic Inverse Problem

2000
This paper aims to clarify the theoretical hasis of iterative distributed solutions [1,2,3] to the biomagnetic inverse problem. A rationale for employing this technique is that it should produce more focal activity than the Standard minimum norm algorithm [4]. We try to clarify the meaning of the images produced by deriving a precise functional that is minimised.
