The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine for curing sciatica, which is characterized by being prepared by the raw material medicine according to the following weight percentage: 20-30g of astragalus, 10-15g of cassia twigs, 20-30g of salvia miltiorrhiza, 15-20g of safflowers, 15-20g of roots of common peony, 10-15g of ligusticum wallichii, 10-15g of roots of bidentate achyranthes, 15-20g of faeries spleen, 10-15g of heracleum, 9-12g of monkshood, 10-15g of gardenia, 20-30g of pearl barley, 10-15g of papayas, 15-20g of stiff silkworms and 15-20g of lycopodium clavatum. Effectiverate is 85%, and recovery rate is 72.5%.
