Simulation and study of classifying effects of cone classifying liners in ball mills based on discrete element method

The classifying mechanism of cone classifying liners was explained,and the classifying effects of the ball mills with several typical cone classifying liners were simulated by the discrete element simulation software EDEM2.3.The obtained data was analysed,and the cone classifying liner with the best classifying effects—cone classifying liner with dual slopes was identified,which provided theoretical basis for the selection of liners.
