Delayprofiles ofindoor multipath environment at 60GHzweremeasured. Packets included preamble withtwom- sequences wereusedformeasurement. Time-delay resolution of delayprofiles was1ns.Themeasurement results showedthat multipath delayed wavesat60GHzwereseparable. Thedelayed waveswithhighrelative powersofabout-10dB existed when transmitter orreceiver werelocated nearconcrete walls orsteel walls. Thedelayed wavesdegraded theerrorvector magnitude (EVM).TheEVM wasimproved usingasimple equalizer with thetap coefficients calculated from delayprofiles. The measurement results oftheindoor multipath environment were similar tothesimulation results using theraytracing method withmeasuredreflectance ofmaterial. Themultipath delayed wavesofaindoor multipath environment canbepredicted using theraytracing method.
