A new hopane triterpenoid and other constituents from Hybanthus austro-caledonicus (Vieill.) Schinz & Guillaumin

A new hopane triterpenoid, 3α-hydroxy-21β-H-hop-22(29)-en-23-oic acid, together with seven known triterpenoid and sterolic compounds, were isolated from the leaves of Hybanthus austro-caledonicus (Vieill.) Schinz & Guillaumin. No cyclotide has been detected in the leaves.
