A process for the forming of profiles of unidirectionally fiber reinforced composite materials during the manufacturing process

2007
The invention relates to a process for the forming of profiles of unidirectionally fiber reinforced composite materials, which are stabilized by a binding thread. The method is characterized in that a binding thread having by a stabilized and uni-directional fiber-reinforced Compositmaterialstrang in an open regions mold is formed and remains so long in the mold until a shape-stabilizing curing has taken place. The shape-stabilizing curing is effected by an introduced through the open areas of the mold in the reshaped Compositmaterialstrang energy radiation. The composite material and the high-energy radiation are matched such that the high energy radiation penetrates deep into the Compositmaterialstrang and carried out of the depth a shape-stabilizing curing the reshaped Compositmaterialstranges by polymerization of the reactive resin. The particular advantage of the process is in a comparatively rapid curing of the formed shape-stabilizing Compositmaterialstranges, resulting in high manufacturing speeds can be realized in the manufacture of unidirectionally fiber reinforced Compositmaterialformteilen.
