The invention relates to a hydroxyapatite-based bacteriostatic repair material used in the department of dentistry and a preparation method thereof. The hydroxyapatite-based bacteriostatic repair material comprises hydroxyapatite, polysiloxane or polystyrene-polysiloxane copolymer loaded on the hydroxyapatite and polyethylene glycol or a polymer with a PEG structure, wherein the polysiloxane or polystyrene-polysiloxane copolymer accounts for 5%-30% by mass of the hydroxyapatite, and the PEG or the polymer with the PEG structure accounts for 5%-35% by mass of the hydroxyapatite. The repair material for tooth growth has high mechanical strength, good biocompatibility and good antibacterial properties.
