Formação de mudas de Dimorphandra gardneriana Tul. em função de diferentes recipientes

2020
The high standard of quality of seedlings depends on the success of technologies used during production, among them the type and size of container influences the final cost of production. The objective was to evaluate the quality of seedlings Dimorphandra gardneriana Tul., when produced in containers with different diameters. In order to do this, it was carried out two experiments conducted in randomized blocks, in the first experiment it was evaluated different sizes of bags, 10 x 12, 12 x 12, 11 x 18, 12 x 22 and 15 x 28 cm width and height, respectively. In the second experiment, the treatments consisted of different volumes of polypropylene tubes of 55, 110, 175 mL and plastic bottles with the capacity of 250 and 500 mL. The characteristics evaluated were: lenght and green and dry mass of shoot and root. The polyethylene bag (15 x 28 cm) offered the best conditions for the development of seedlings, with all variables superior on this treatment, with this it is recommended for the production of seedlings of D. gardneriana.
