DNA methylation as a robust classifier of epithelial ovarian cancer

2019
Epithelial ovarian cancers (EOC) can be defined across different histological subtypes by specific DNA methylation profiles which correlate with outcome. Identification of distinct EOC methylation subgroups emphasizes the role of epigenetic remodeling to establish unique EOC etiology during transformation, and harbors the potential to direct personalized medicine and patient care.
