The use of visceral adiposity variables in the prediction of obstructive sleep apnea: evidence from a large cross-sectional study

Purpose The purposes of this study were to evaluate the ability of visceral adiposity variables [the lipid accumulation product (LAP), the visceral adiposity index (VAI), and the triglyceride-glucose index (TyG)] in predicting obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and to determine the effect of sex on the prediction.
