Hybrid Trefftz Finite Element Method for the Transversely Isotropic Piezoelectric Material

2019
A new finite element model, the hybrid Trefftz finite element method (HT-FEM), is proposed for transversely isotropic piezoelectric materials. In this paper, the main research object is piezoelectric ceramics. The materials is transversely isotropic in nature. The main idea is to treat displacement and potential as potential problems in a broad sense. Then, the basic solutions satisfying the governing equations of piezoelectric materials are obtained by using Laplace equation, and finally use HT-FEM to solve the problem.
