13 C-NMR Analysis of Essential Oils

1982
There is little doubt that 13C-NMR spectroscopy is today one of the most important methods in instrumental analysis, finding a wide variety of applications in chemistry, physics, and biology. 13C-NMR spectroscopy is generally used for the elucidation of the molecular dynamics and the determination of constitution, configuration and conformation of polymers and biopolymers. Generally such applications focus on the study of isolated chemical species. The application of 13C-NMR spectroscopy to the investigation of complex mixtures is relatively seldom.
