Mutual injection locking of two individual Nd:YVO/sub 4/ lasers in a compound cavity

In this paper, we demonstrate mutual injection locking of two individual Nd:YVO/sub 4/ lasers through diffraction coupling in a compound cavity. The two laser beams are spatially coherent. Combing these coherent beams can lead to a beam with high power and small divergence.
