Effect of Herba Cistanches extract on NO_2~- eliminating in vitro experiment

Herba Cistanches as material,the best extract crafts eliminating NO-2 were studied in simulated gastric pH conditions.The results showed that the best conditions of extract of water bath were ethanol concentration 80%,extracted temperature 80℃,ratio of material to liquid 1:20,extracted time 120min,and the best conditions of extract of ultrasonic extraction were ethanol concentration 80%,30℃,power 60Hz,time 20min,ratio of material to liquid 1:20.In the condition of the concentration of 0.0720g/mL and reaction time 8min,the scavenging rate of NO-2 were 99.33% and 84.21% respectively for extract of water bath and ultrasonic.Herba Cistanche had the fortissimo ability to scavenge NO-2.The scavenging effects increased with the increasing of concentration.The scavenging ability of the extract of water bath to NO-2 was much better than that of ultrasonic.
